CASSEGRAIN & TIN MAN are a deadly combination. Old school acid lines programmed by one of the greatest masters in this field meet a super modern techno sound design by Cassegrain, who have made themselves a name in the last years for producing some of the finest in dark and experimental techno. For the follow up to their debut release on KILLEKILL they have put together three tracks that are outstand- ing.
HIGH & LOW is a slowly swelling minimalistic acid epos of over 10 minutes length which proves the mas- tership of Tin Man in programming acid loops of eternal quality. 8 beats length only, but constantly evolving. No chance for boredom. The B-side starts with SEX KIT, a dark acid stomper with a chirping percussion which is well suitable for the peaktime dancefloor, followed by SAND MAZE, a sublte minimalistic ambient acid piece, that winds its way into total dissolution.
We are quite sure that this is the way acid should sound in 2013.
