KRAKE FESTIVAL 2020 - world wide web edition

Next weekend, from 11th to 13th of December, we will celebrate 10 years of Krake Festival with a very special edition.

We broke our backs to come up with something special in these crazy times and we think we succeeded. The festival will contain 3 days of music, live a/v shows, the very first of krake TV (our own music tv format), a Call-in Talkshow and a thing we call a multi-stream rave with 12 streams at a time from the coolest crews from around the globe.

PROGRAMME

Day 1 will be all about special and more experimental performances and premieres among them an augmented Fantasy show by Arad, an electronic music, a b2b2b by Alienata, Max Durante and DJ Flush, where they dj and cook a three course dinner at the same time.

Teaming up w/ FOLD London, Hör Berlin. Ismus Berlin, Mechatronica Berlin, Omen Recordings L.A., Onderwereld The Hague, Seoul Community Radio & Universe of Tang, Day 2 will be a multi-room festival situation translated into modern times with 10 streams happening at the same time, coming from different crews out of Berlin and the rest of the world. The music will be streamed all night long through our website, the visitor will be able to switch between the streams like at our real-life festival where you could switch between different floors, musical and audiovisual concepts. Additionally to the musical floors we are proud to present our concept of a toilet floor, an interactive version of a club toilet, designed for silly talks. 

Line up includes Helena Hauff, DJ Stingray, The Lady Machine, Intergalactic Gary, Unit Moebius, Drumcell amongst others.

Day 3 will be all about decompression focussing on relaxing and spacious music which you can enjoy alone or with friends chilling and dreaming away on your own couch or in your bed - maybe the most appropriate format for electronic music in these crazy times.

82 TRACK V.A. COMPILATION

To round it off, we will also release some music of some of the key artists playing for us in the past 10 years. It would have been too much to ask all of them, but we did ask some if they wanted to contribute to a jubilee compilation and now we are happy and proud to be able to present a V.A. compilation with 82 tracks! The compilation will be released in two parts which are being sold on Bandcamp at a very, very low price of 10€ each. All profits will go 50% to Seawatch and 50% to Ick Mach Welle, our inclusive project.
