LOD hosts this night. He has brought his friend KATE SIMKO from Chicago who has brought some friends as to play Berghain Kantine to ashes this night! KATE SIMKO is a studied classical piano player, although she is rather known for her warm and deep productions in minimal techno. Without any doubt according to her roots in chicago house and detroit techno.
Her friend Camea from New York is also a rising star in the minimal techno scene: Her tracks on Minus, Clink and Einmaleins have been played and charted by people like Richie Hawtin, Magda, Loco Dice, Pan-Pot and many more and especially her dj work is being pointed out again and again. Some call her the best female dj around and therefore we are excited about thhis night!
TIM XAVIER after all is an artist that everybody should know: As a producer he releases amongst others on his own label ltd. 400. His tracks are real sound pearls: starting from a simple idea they are being turned into strong masterpieces with an extraordinary sound and a massive kick. As a mastering sound engineer he also has his hands on releases of labels like spectral, wagon repair and others and as a dj being around for many, many years he is said to have a technique that lets your jaws drop.
