LAKKER

LAKKER are Ian McDonnell and Dara Smith from Ireland. The duo have a long history working together, beginning in 2001, in a band called :undermine:. They formed LAKKER around the same time and began a long journey through harsh electronics, breakcore and noise.
Fast forward to 2011 and the LAKKER sound has been pushed further and further into the unknown, from hauntingly beautifuly melodies to elastic hip-hop breaks. Their latest release SPIDER SILK (due out on a stunning white vinyl, complete with Dara’s screen-prints) is to Berlin’s much-respected Killekill label.
It is a solid release, affirmed by early festival airplay from no less than Aphex Twin himself. This one’s gonna be big.

Neil Landstrumm

NEIL LANDSTRUMM is with no doubt one of the big heroes of techno. With several albums and uncountable singles released on renowned labels like Tresor, Peacefrog and Planet µ, he has definitely written techno history. And this does not even count in his own label Scandinavia, which released music of high prolific techno artists such as Cristian Vogel, Tobias Schmidt, Adam X and many more.

Although having produced his first records in the early nineties NEIL LANDSTRUMM is in no way an old school producer! He has produced a few top notch dubstep records in the last years (released on planet µ) and is just now being one of the producers pushing the boundaries of the post dubstep UK Bass sound and is also being featured on the NONPLUS label being run by no one else but BODDIKA.
For KILLEKILL NEIL has delivered a handful of tracks which combine his typical dirty techno sound with the aesthetics of Dubstep and UK Bass. Extremely funky and with a big drop of acid they fit perfectly to the sound of our label.

SNUFF CREW

SNUFF CREW´s mission is to bring back the fun on the dancefloors worldwide. The masked duo is known for their jacking live shows that combine the raw energy of early Chicago and Acid house with a fresh and modern sound. Rumour has it that they come from “somewhere in Germany”, but their sounds draw a very heavy influence from the original acid house city of Chicago alongside Italo-disco and old school techno flavours. The use of old school roland boxes as sound sources and almost non existent use of even basic effects means their sound is Rough, raw and aimed squarely at the dancefloor. Their records have been released on labels like Skylax, Gigolo Records, Rush Hour, Playhouse and many more, but the two guys also run their own imprint called Snuff Trax where they release music of jackmates like KiNK and Neville Watson as well as their own tracks and collaborations with artists such as legendary Robert Owens.

Stype

Considerate and reliable is how Dj Stype presents himself when playing his gigs. He is a friendly guy who knows what he wants and who has a huge knowledge of the electronic music scene especially in Berlin. At first sight a Dj is just one of many, but when getting in closer touch with him, he shows whether he is able to take you into his own musical universe or not; getting to know Dj Stype is interesting in this exact way: he manages to make himself a really interesting musician without having to blow his horn loudly - he doesn`t have to pose or boast, his sound speaks for itself, loud enough to keep you being interested in what comes next. A good way to enter his world is through his own blog: http://www.dissonanzstudien.de/blog/

Since he began to dj in 2001 he has shown his skills in the most interesting venues of Berlin and on occasional webstream-sessions, hosted by klangterroristen.de, where he had the chance to bring his definition of techno, techhouse, minimal, but also idm, breaks, even breakcore or drum n bass to the public. His reliability lies in the fact, that you can always trust in him playing a solid set wherever you put him, he has a versatile archive and knows how to bring the tracks to the crowd. Also his (only! – what speaks for him) release on Haushaltsware Sprache mirrors his character; why put out many releases? He would just put to public what really is worth it, have a listen to it and hear him at the club – you`ll never regret!
